Fionnbarra Vs Parnells

After a great first half were the Barrs matched Parnells in every deparment the superior fitness of Parnells was too much for this brave preformance of the Barrs third team. At the end there was 18 points in it but this didnt reflect the brave fight the  barrs put up. Roicky in Goal had a good first half but a few mistack in the second half caused the Barrs dearly. The full back line of Git Kelly ,Fred Tunner and John O Donnell fought for every ball till the end of the match and were unlucky to concid one or two goals against a fast inside forward line of Parnells.The Half back line of Gally,Richie O Reilly and Bart Kelly, put in a great first half but tired in the second half. Richie got the point of the match. Center feild of Steven O Farrell and Deark Sweetman tried hard but fell off the pace as the game progress. The half foward line of D.J.Smither,Steven Hyland, and Moie Shannon played well in the first half with D.J. having a blinder. Steven the hit man Hyland had a up and down night as he miss the present of his buddy Lee Mc Keogh. He tried hard but it didn’t happen,and the match against Ciarans was a distant memory. The full foward line of Graham Tuner,Stephen Noughton ,Naill Brady,work very hard but scores are what win games and the inside line didn’t deliver.Sean Tobin made his adult depute and done well for his first match. A enjoyable match to watch and manage.
