On a cold May morning in the Bogies our under 10 hurling team took on our neighbours OP/ER. Mangers Steven Brown and Ciaran Kehoe fielded a 19 players squad which they split into two teams. Both matches were very closes and very well contested by both sides. Some great skills were showing by both sets of players.
The Barrs as a team showed great determination and spirit in both matches and were unlucky not to get a result. Some players have made great strides over the last two years. In saying that lots of work still needs to be done by the team to enhance their skill levels which is essential for hurling.
Overall the team showed great battling skills and work really hard as a team which is a good sign even though the game was not going their way. For this grit and determination they get team of the week, Thanks to all the parents who attended the match. Go raibh maith agaibhh.
