May O’Driscoll
Wednesday, March 2nd, 2011May O’Driscoll socialised in the club for over ten years. On a Sunday after dinner at the ballad sessions she would make the club her own with dancing and singing. She always was in great form and spent many a happy day with her friends in the first alcove of the Bar. To her family and friends we sent our sympathies on her passing.

Under 21 Championship Final
Monday, February 21st, 2011The Barrs went down on Saturday by three points to Parnells. In a tight game the Barrs were well on top in the first half going in at half time leading by two points. The second half the Barrrs never showed up, yet with two minutes left there was only one point betweeen the teams. A missed penalty gave Parnells the title. A famous man once wrote ‘tomorrow is another day’. Congraulations to Parnells on their win.
