Roads Leagues Start
Tuesday, August 3rd, 2010The Annual Road leagues started in the Bogies tonight. This week is for Gaelic football competition for the Jack Casselly Cup. Over Fifty children from the ages of 10 to 13 took part in the tonights opening games.
The Managers of the teams were Glen Smithers–Kevin Kehoe, Dano Cummins — Eoin Fogerty, Lee Mc Keogh– Eoin Sweetman, Wane Dempsey– Ciaran Stone– Wacker Doyle. Organiser of the event is our juvenile Chairman and local councillor Seamus McGratten, with great help from Terry Mc Keogh, Gerry Weldon, Thomas Gleason and ref Terry Carton.
The Matches will take place all week in the Bogies and if you have a hour to spare go up and support the children of the parish!!
