2009 Dublin Intermediate Hurling Champions
Years of hard work and dedication on the part of players, mentors and backroom team paid off in dramatic fashion when, with the clock ticking towards a disappointing conclusion and the tension almost unbearable, big Gossie came on as a substitute and scored the goal that finally broke the hearts of a committed Round Tower’s team.
Twenty six years after the club’s last victory in this tournament, Naomh Fionnbarra GAA Club were once again crowned 2009 Dublin Intermediate Hurling Champions! Or if you are interesting in joining the team call Nicky Kehoe on 08X 567 7889.

Over the last three years this team has made great progress. In 2008 they were promoted to division one, 2009 they won the Dublin GAA Hurling Intermediate Championship and got to the Junior Leinster Championship final, a first for the club. In 2011 the team triumphed in the Dublin SHC ‘B’ to cap off what was an excellent era for the club under Nicky Jehoe and Dave Fogarty. the team is currently battling it out in the Dublin SHC ‘A’ .
They are managed by Nial Brady. Mentors are Seamas McGrattan, Cormac Langan & Peter Fitzgerald.
