Festival-Week

On day one of the Festival (14th August), the crowds assembled at the club house at two oclock. The weather was glorious as over 500 children and adults line up for the parade from the club house on Faussagh Avenue to the Bogies.

Led by over 50 Harley Davison Bikers and Pipers the parade took over a half a hour to reach the sun drenched John Paul Park. Featured in the parade were two vintage cars and a horse drawn trap which was full with Barrs supports. Over 15 teams in the club colours made the parade very colourful.

At the Bogies over 50 tinys tots played two matchs as our GPO and Dublin Player Eamon Fennell ran the long puck and skills competition. A great opening to a great day.
